WHAT DOES FOSTERING A PET ENTAIL?

Fostering a pet means you’ll take one of our rescue animals into your home to live with you until they are adopted. Your expected to show them love, joy, and compassion for however long they are in your care. Green Heart Rescue supplies beds, food & covers the cost of all medical care. We do ask our foster families to help transport their foster pets to adoption events and veterinary appointments when possible. Foster families can additionally choose to volunteer at adoption events if they so choose.

Our pets stay an average of 3-6 months until they are adopted. Hospice fosters will remain in their foster home for the remainder of their life.
